About the Artist:
Parul Sen likes to observe the mundane and find beauty in the everyday objects and scenes that eventually find their way into her paintings. She grew up in India in the pink city of Jaipur before I moved to Melbourne the land of wattle, hence the name - Pink Wattle.
Parul started her career as a graphic designer in India but always wanted to illustrate what she cared for the most- her surroundings. Gill Gannon, a local store owner in Newport - VIC, could see Parul's passion and has commisioned her to create these artworks of the suburbs in the Inner-West of Melbourne.
